Why book the home visit from a full clinic
A vet at home in Dubai is only as useful as the building behind the visit. Ours has the lab, the x-ray room and the surgery theatre that a car boot does not.
A vet and a nurse, every visit
One person holds and one examines. A nervous cat is examined in 1 attempt instead of 3, and blood is drawn without a second needle. The nurse records the weight and the vaccine batch.
Samples run in our own lab
Blood and urine taken in your living room go straight back to the in-house lab. For most panels the vet phones you with the result the same day.
The clinic is the next step, not a referral
If the vet finds a problem that needs x-ray, ultrasound or surgery, it is booked at our own clinic, open 8 AM to 12 AM every day. You get the written estimate at your door.
The fee for your area, in writing first
Send your location pin and the desk replies with the visit fee and the price of each item. Nothing is added at the door that you did not agree to on WhatsApp.

02Overview
What a home visit covers, and where it stops
A home visit suits a cat that panics in the carrier and a large old dog that cannot climb into the car. It suits a household with 3 or 4 animals due on the same day. It also suits owners without a car. Tell us on WhatsApp what the visit is for, because the vet packs for that job.
At home the vet can do a full examination, cat vaccinations and dog vaccinations. Nail trims, ear cleaning, wound checks and repeat injections are also done at home. Blood and urine samples are taken in your living room and run in our laboratory afterwards.
Some things cannot leave the building. X-ray, ultrasound, anaesthetics, surgery, dental scaling and drips all need the clinic. If the vet finds a problem that needs one of them, you are told at the visit and given a written estimate. A home visit is also the wrong choice for an emergency, because your car reaches us faster than we reach you. For that, read the urgent care page and call.

- Pet vaccination home serviceAnnual boosters and first courses for kittens and puppies, given after a health check and entered in the vaccination book. See cat vaccination and dog vaccination for what each course contains.
- Health check at homeEyes, ears, teeth, heart, lungs, belly, skin and joints, with the weight recorded. Suits the cat that has not left the flat in 3 years and the owner without a car.
- Home vet visits for dogs that cannot travelLarge or old dogs with sore hips, and dogs recovering from surgery. The vet assesses pain and mobility on your floor and adjusts the medication plan.
- Blood and urine samplesDrawn at home, labelled in front of you and run in our laboratory. Ask when you book whether your animal should fast.
- Wound checks and stitch removalAfter surgery at the clinic, the recheck and the removal of stitches can happen at home if the wound is clean. The vet decides at the visit.
- Repeat injections and long-term medication reviewsInjections due every few weeks, and the weight and check that come before a repeat prescription from the pharmacy.
- Nail clipping and ear cleaningDone by the nurse while the vet examines. Tell us if your cat has bitten during nail trims before.

How a visit runs
The order is the same for a flat or a villa.

A day aheadSend your location pin, the species and age, the reason for the visit and a photo of the vaccination book. We reply with the fee for your area and the times available.

Before we arrive
1 hour beforeShut your cat in one small room, such as a bathroom, with the carrier open. A cat under a bed is the main reason a visit runs over. Put your dog on a lead. Tell building security that a visitor is coming.

The examination
The vet works on a table or on the floor with a towel, whichever your animal prefers. The nurse holds. The vet checks eyes, ears, teeth, heart, lungs, belly, skin and joints, and records the weight.

Vaccines and samples
Each vaccine is entered in the vaccination book and signed. Samples are labelled in front of you and go back to the lab. Results reach you by phone or WhatsApp.

Plan and payment
You get the findings and the next date in writing. If anything needs the clinic, the estimate lists each item before you decide.

Home visits in Dubai, in practice
Towers and gated communities
Most towers register visitors and many limit visitor parking to 1 or 2 hours. Send the tower name and flat number with the pin, and tell the concierge our arrival time.
Summer car parks
From June to September a basement car park can sit above 40°C. Flat-faced breeds such as Persians, pugs and bulldogs overheat fastest. A home visit removes that trip for routine care.
Vaccines travel cold
Vaccines have to stay between 2 and 8°C. They travel in a cool box and come out only when the vet is ready to inject.
Rabies and the municipality tag
A rabies vaccine given at home is entered in the same vaccination book as one given in the clinic. Ask on WhatsApp about Dubai Municipality registration when you book, and have the microchip number ready.
Ramadan evenings
During Ramadan the slots after iftar go first. Book 2 or 3 days ahead in that month if you want an evening time.
Where we start from
The team leaves from Ras Al Khor Industrial 3. International City, Nad Al Sheba, Meydan, Al Warqa, Mirdif and Silicon Oasis are the closest areas. Send your pin and we tell you whether we can come and what it costs.

Do not book a home visit for these. Call and come in
These need x-ray, a drip or constant monitoring, and none of those travel.

- Breathing with effort, or a cat breathing through an open mouth
- A male cat straining to pass urine
- Repeated vomiting with a swollen, tight belly
- A seizure, a collapse, or sudden weakness in the back legs
- A fall from a height or a road accident, even if your animal is walking
- Anything swallowed that may be poisonous
08Afterwards
After the visit
A vaccinated cat or dog is often quiet for 24 hours and may eat less that evening. A small firm lump at the injection site can last 1 to 2 weeks and then fades.
Lab results from samples taken at home are explained by phone. If a result changes the plan, the vet tells you whether the next step can be done at home or needs the clinic.
- Call us the same day if the face swells, hives appear or your animal vomits more than twice after a vaccine
- Skip baths and hard exercise for 2 days after a vaccination
- Keep the vaccination book where you will find it, because travel and registration both need it
- Note the next due date in your phone before the team leaves
